Spring-like temperatures are apparently expected to make a come-back in a few days. We might even reach 20°C (68°F) for the first time this year.
In the meantime, we can still have a look at pictures taken when the weather was last pleasantly warm, about two weeks ago. Here another batch of pictures from our afternoon at Expo Park. As usual, you can click on the pictures to get larger versions.
Cherry blossoms are just around the corner (less than three weeks until first bloom according to the latest forecast), but plum blossoms really are a nice way to keep us all waiting.
There was a fairly large crowd in the park that day, and I was not the only trying to capture the ephemeral beauties. Photos, drawings, videos... All options were considered!
Plum blossoms should last for another eight to ten days. If the weather is nice, I might go on another "photo-trip". Osaka Castle is said to be a nice location for plum blossoms.
