I was not kidding about the rain...
You may have read in the news about heavy rainfalls in the South of Japan. While we were not affected by the worst of it, there was still some fairly impressive showers.
Here are some pictures from one I was able to catch on camera last week.
You do not want to find yourself outside when this happens, with or without an umbrella.
The rainy season appears to be over, now.
This morning, the sun is shining, and it was already over 30°C at 9am. This is 86°F, for non-metric readers.

True, but by the time I was in front of our combini, it was already too late for me! ;)
