It was almost a week ago now, but I wanted to briefly come back to what happened last Sunday.
As I had been mentioning on Twitter for quite some time, I went to Kobe on December 12th, to attend the "content creators meet-up" organised by the Bad Communication podcast.
It was a very enjoyable event, and gave me the opportunity to meet individuals who, on top of creating great content, turned out to be extremely nice persons!
What more would you ask for?
There are good chances that you already know most of their work, as some of them have well-established sites/podcasts/channels, but here is the exhaustive list.
Make sure to check them out!
So as not to be accused of favouritism, I have to admit that, during the event's Christmas raffle, I won second prize, but I can assure you that this Jiji kit had no impact on this blog post. :)

- Hiroki Matsuuchi is part of the Bad Communication duo, and also has a blog.
- Andrew Hawkins is the second half of the Bad Communication podcast, and has a blog too.
- Edward Chmura, from Japan Talk (already at episode 171!), is now also on YouTube.
- Doug DeLong hosts the Planet Japan podcast with Jen. The 200th episode is getting very close.
- Busan Kevin has a main channel on YouTube with over 15,000 subscribers, and a secondary channel with almost 2,000. He also has a blog, and a Canadian-themed podcast!
- Andrew Farmer is Spydermurphy on YouTube, and this gives a nice excuse to discover Osaka castle park (among other things).
- PJ is KansaiPJ on YouTube, and also appears with Kevin on the Two beers in Asia channel.
- Ian Robertson's content can be easily accessed from his Donnachaidh Portal, (but as most others above, he also has a YouTube channel, of course).
- Chris Butler makes great videos of his drawings, which you can enjoy on his Zionviller YouTube channel.
- Dan Savage comes and goes between Japan and the US, so upload frequency is irregular, but the podcast episodes already available at Savage Japan are worth listening to. New ones coming soon, it seems.
