Road-trip to the South coast (of Ireland)

It looks like the summer we did not have (remember this post) was finally here last week. Of course, it was quite chilly at sunrise, but the weather was very nice, and we decided to go to the South coast (Co. Cork and Co. Kerry).

We took the shortest way to get there (M7 and then N8), and arrived in Kinsale just in time to leave our bags in the B&B and get down to the port for a nice walk in the lovely light of the sunset.

The next day we went along the coast towards Mizen Head, and stopped many times to enjoy the scenery. These stops included the very windy Old Head of Kinsale, the Clonakilty bay, Galley Head.
By the time we decided to have lunch, we had reached Skibbereen and the weather had provided us with the opportunity to take some interesting pictures.

The second part of the trip will be for another post...
